Freyssinet has two types of stay cables:
Designed for smaller-scale structures, H1000 cables support up to 19 strands and provide efficient, precise performance where compact solutions are required.
Ideal for long-span bridges, HD stay cables deliver robust capacity with configurations exceeding 169 strands. They are engineered for durability and structural efficiency on large-scale projects.
Our solutions for Cable Systems
Strands are the core tension elements of our Parallel Strand System (PSS), which forms high-performance, lightweight, and modular cables of varying sizes. Freyssinet’s Monostrand® and Cohestrand® technologies lead the industry in reliability and ease of implementation.
Freyssinet designs and manufactures anchorages in-house to ensure total control over quality and performance. These modular systems are adaptable to all project requirements—from compact clevis-type hangers to long-span structural cable anchorages.
To ensure dynamic stability, Freyssinet installs damper solutions between the cable and the structure. These mechanical systems dissipate energy and control vibrations, helping to maintain performance and prolong structural lifespan.
