Landers Shute Water Treatment Plant, located near Palmwoods in South East Queensland, plays a vital role in delivering potable water to the Sunshine Coast and the SEQ water grid. Commissioned in 1989, the facility has a design capacity of approximately 140 megalitres per day.

As a specialist in the repair and rehabilitation of civil infrastructure, Freyssinet was initially engaged to conduct detailed inspections and provide recommendations for the restoration and refurbishment of Sedimentation and Flocculation Basin 1. This early involvement led to a successful tender and the award of major structural remediation works on the asset in 2018.
