Freyssinet Australia was engaged by CPBJH JV to strengthen Span 4 of CityLink’s Bridge 73 over Footscray Road using externally applied prestressing to the existing Super‑T girders. The solution deployed Freyssinet’s proprietary 1R15 ducted anchorage system with full duct grouting to comply with VicRoads and WGTP technical requirements—delivered safely within live‑traffic constraints and night‑shift closures. The works achieved a durable, compliant upgrade to extend structural capacity and performance on a critical urban corridor.
