NAIDOC Week at Freyssinet QLD

Our QLD office came together last week to celebrate NAIDOC Week with a shared lunch and a moment of reflection.

We were honoured to begin the gathering with an Acknowledgement of Country delivered by Kristie Smith — a proud Wonnaura woman from North Queensland. Kristie’s words grounded the occasion in meaning and reminded us of the strength, history, and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Events like this are an opportunity to learn, connect and pay respect — not just during NAIDOC Week, but every day — as we continue to reflect on how we can better support reconciliation in our workplace and beyond.
