Freyssinet was engaged to supply and install 30 structural steel trusses across three existing concrete load bins. This critical upgrade was designed to restore the structural load capacity of the bins and extend the operational service life of the facility.

Freyssinet Scope

  • Supply & Install 30 structural steel trusses (4-6 tonne each)
  • Core existing concrete columns – 1000mm deep, 77mm diameter – 576 off
  • Supply & Install M50 Freyssibar through each 77mm core hole – 16t total
  • Supply & install two staircase towers
  • Design and install temporary works system including access and jacking for installing structural steel
