The Nowra Bridge Project (NBP) provided a new four-lane bridge over the Shoalhaven River, upgraded intersections, and additional lanes on the Princes Highway. This project was commissioned by Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) and executed by the main contractor Fulton Hogan (FH). The works were located at the Nowra Bridge, which connects the main area of Nowra to North Nowra and Bomaderry, carrying the Princes Highway over the Shoalhaven River.
Freyssinet Australia’s scope of work for the Nowra Bridge Project included the supply and installation of post-tensioning, launching equipment, and associated temporary works, as well as the launching of the bridge and the supply and installation of both temporary and permanent launch-over spherical bearings.
