Strathfield Flyover

Freyssinet Australia was contacted by RailCorp for the remediation of an existing flyover at Strathfield. Works were quite extensive over the shutdown period. Day and nights crew were required over 2 weekends to complete the whole job.

With the proximity of the power lines and risk of damaging existing services, it was decided that all concrete surface preparation was to be done manually rather than by hydroblasting. Concrete repairs were also completed with a manual repair method as numerous small patches had to be done. Work was completed on time to the entire satisfaction of the client.
