During the refurbishment of the Panorama Apartments which was being carried out by the Head Contractor Probuild Pty Ltd, Freyssinet Australia was awarded the installation of carbon fibre on the lift shaft and slab soffit. The work had to be done in stages as areas had to be cleaned off services prior to our works.
Key Aspects:
Carbon fibre was applied on lift shaft walls and slab soffits over three levels.
The surface preparation of the concrete was done with a grinder to avoid vast accumulation of dust and stopping other trade working on the same level.
